Dear parents,
A BIG THANK YOU, for all the lovely donations of healthy food, decorations and treats. The students had a wonderful celebration and your contributions helped make it extra special for them. Thank you for all your support and for coming to see all the great costumes at the parade.

Check out this sneak peek of the students in art class. They are currently working on drawing and painting portraits.
Below you can see photos of the students working on Math questions on our interactive classroom touch screen board. They are also working on the number 8 and getting into the Halloween spirit!
Students are currently learning different ways to model the number ten. We often use two different colored cubes or different colored chips to represent numbers like the example below. Learning that 9 and 1 makes 10 will lead students into our next unit which is Addition and Subtraction.
Science day was a success! The students had so much fun! They got to visit each KG2 classroom and explore and discover their senses in creative ways. In our class we explored our sense of taste and smell. Students got to smell different scents and made hypothesis on what they thought the smells were. Students also really enjoyed taking away their sense of sight to enhance their sense of taste. They had to figure out if they were tasting salty, sour or sweet. We got to see some silly faces when they all tried the sour lemon. :) Students also got to discover their sense of touch through tactile hands on exploration. They even made a textured picture! The students also explored their sense of sound. They were able to create their very own sounds using different instruments as well as everyday items you may find at home like paper rolls. They made soft & loud sounds and even tried to create their own echos.
Check out some of the creative and hands on activities the students have been working on while learning about the five senses.
![]() What is Raz- Kids ? Comprehensive Leveled Reading Resources for Kids Raz-Kids is an award-winning teaching product that provides comprehensive leveled reading resources for students. With hundreds of eBooks offered at 29 different levels of reading difficulty, it's easy to put the right content in every student's hands. Kids access their leveled text through an interactive learning portal designed to keep them motivated and engaged.
