STEM Activity Build a Sun ShelterKG2C had a problem this week. Poor Olaf was melting in the sun and the only way to save him was to protect him from the sun in the shade. The children set to work designing and building a sun shelter to keep him cool. We took a step back and let them solve the problems that they found along the way, helping them to learn how to think critically. It also allowed for them to work in groups. We tested the shelters outside in the sun and one group Adam and Arin had the most successful shelter, with the least amount of melted water from poor Olat. way to go Adam and Arin! Check out all the fun here:

AuthorMs.Sorcha Welcome to KG2C's Blog!
I'm delighted to be your child's teacher this year. My aim as a teacher is to create a loving and fun learning environment for your child to grow in. I will provide them with the skills and knowledge they need, to help them feel proud of what they do here at CAS. |
